Using scrapbooking paper, rub-ons & ribbon, I had cut and layered everything onto thin chipboard. Then covered whole thing in Mod Podge Glossy (2 coats) to give it some shine and protection.

Mothers day project-Recipe Book

Pot holders for covers, stamped with paint on foam stamps, hot glued to chipboard covered in paper , hole punched and binder rings fed through, Punched tab punches and covered dividers in patterned paper. Stamped mothersday sentiment and set with embossing powder.

Bookmark

I made this bookmark with scraps I had leftover.
Solid green 12" x 1.5" folded in half, Polkadot pattered paper cut on a diagonal then glued down. All paper distressed with brown Tim Holtz ink, 5 brass colored Brads down in bottom corner. Magnets on ends then covered by reverse side of Polkadot paper.

Inside of bookmark, backside of pattered paper covers magnets & back of brads

Magnets holds bookmark together through page and therefore won't likely fall out of the book

Misc Projects

Found this note book I made for Nathan out of an old floppy disc when I was looking for samples to bring to my Clipperstreet interview.

Quite simple really old floppy disc, card stock and the bind it all. A couple of sentiments from a punch it out scrapbook kit and voila.

Box I made from instructions from the scor-pal website, I used my scor-it mini (the smaller size made this project a little more difficult to make but it turned out "ok")

Made this last night so I had more samples for my interview that wern't from a clipperstreet class lol

We only went to the beach once the whole time we're there and Nathan didn't take any pictures.
